Saturday, august 24th, the 2nd edition of the Porsche Classic Coast Tour started in the Belgian coast village De Haan. Last year, the Porsche Classic Coast Tour had its inaugural edition. It all began as a tour with some friends who all shared the same passion for classic Porsches. The inaugural edition was that successful and liked by the participants, that the organization started preparing the 2nd edition immediately.
Only 45 cars were allowed in the 2nd edition of the Porsche Classic Coast Tour. It only took 1 week to sell them out. In the morning the participants were welcomed with a glass of champagne and a brunch. Visitors could meanwhile enjoy the classic Porsches at the parking. At noon, the 120 km long tour started. The roadblock took all the participants from De Haan to the Netherlands over Houthave and Lissewege. The Porsche Centre in Knokke invited all participants for a coffee.
Due to the succes, the organization considers allowing 60 to 70 cars, and a concours d’Elegance for the Porsche 356 and the early Porsche 911. Mark August 24th in your agenda for the 3rd edition of the Porsche Classic Coast Tour
