3rd International Porsche Collectors Day

International it was, with exhibitors from Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany…

Henk Koop compared this 3rd edition to the 2017 International Porsche Collectors Day, and could only confirm that the event has doubled the number of exhibitors, and almost tripled the number of visitors to the show. And the people that didn’t show up in Gelderland, well, they were wrong. This year, Mark Wegh not only set his showroom and a small part of his workshop open for exhibitors to show their collectibles. This year, the complete workshop was filled with over 300 metres of tables, all piled up with Porsche related stuff. Exhibitors came from the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and even Denmark.  Visitors mainly from the Netherlands and Belgium, even though we even spotted a lonely American strolling among the displayed collectors items. Great to know is, the International Porsche Collectors Day is a unique place to spot some great Porsches, like the 2 Porsche 911 GT2 RS waiting to be delivered to a happy customer one of the coming days. No matter where you were in the Porsche Classic Centre Gelderland, you noticed happy and smiling faces. And even though we heard some voices telling that Porsche parts etc should not be sold on a collectors day, we are convinced of the opposite. Some people collect toys, books or literature, other collect Porsches. But all of them are part of a big happy family.. and that’s what the International Porsche Collector Day is : a family day. We hope to see you next year, we’ll be there !!!!
