It is definitely not easy to find a real early Porsche 356. And finding an early Porsche 356 Cabriolet is even harder. This 1953 Porsche 356 Cabriolet resided with the same owner for over 50 years, making the car even more desirable to collectors. The car had a recent nut-and-bolt restoration that has been completely documented with pictures. Last june, it was awarded 1st in class at the Colorado Concours d’Elegance & Exotic Sports Car Show, Littleton, Colorado.
In case you are not afraid to start a restoration, the 1955 Porsche 356 Speedster that comes up for sale is a good candidate. The car comes directory from a more than 40 years period of storage and still bears the original Southern California black plate. The car womes with some great period accessories like a Telefunken radion and is considered a great candidate for a concours restoration. W
