The co-operation between the Dutch Porsche magazine RS MAGAZINE and Autotron Rosmalen turned the Autotron for 2 days into a true paradise for Porsche enthusiasts. Saturday at 10, the gates to the event opened, and at the entrance there was a line of Porsches, waiting to be allowed to the Porsche dedicated parkinglot. Visitors without a Porsche had to park their car on another parking, but that couldn’t spoil the fun.

As soon as you entered the premises of Autotron, visitors were literally thrown in another world. Everywhere you threw an eye on, you noticed stuff that has something to do with Porsches. From the most modern cars to the early Porsche 356, an artist Norbertus who was painting a Porsche 356, miniatures and literature. Name it, and you could find it.

Dealers from all over the Netherlands showed their cars to the public. The complete hall was filled up to the last square foot with cars, most of the Porsches 911, but less common models too. No matter what car you prefer, outlaws or original, both were available.

Next to the dozens of dealers, the spectators had a great joy walking the Porsche parking lot, where it was a constantly coming and going of all kinds of Porsches. Everywhere smiling faces. People chatting to each other, and I can hardly think the subject was not Porsche.

Yes, there is something negative to be said about the RS Fest : some kind of crook stole a Porsche 911 RSR look from the Porsche parking lot, let’s just hope the car will be found and returned to the owner soon.

Thanks RS Magazine and Autotron for this wonderfull weekend, see you next year!!!
