Classic Days Schloss Dyck hosts Coys Auction again
For the 2nd consecutive year, the Classic Days Schloss Dyck in Jüchen (Germany) host the Coys Auction that used to be at the AvD Oldtimer Grand-Prix for years before. An impressive total of 15 Porsches will come on the block for auction at the Coys Auction at Schloss Dyck. Some of these cars might have the attention of the international collectors world, as they’re not the most common ones.
Lot 213 is a German registered one-owner 1992 Porsche 964 RS Coupe with 112.000 kms from new. The Porsche 911 RS models are highly wanted by collectors so this car might cath a rather heavy price. I expect it to be hammered over the estimated price of €180.000 – €220.000.
Lot 219 is a rare 1976 Porsche 911 G-Series Carrera RS. Immediately after the legendary 1973 Carrera RS finished production a series of Carreras were built for the European market that were equivalent to the M472 optioned 73 RS Touring models. This rare and desirable Porsche was the G-series Carrera 2.7 MFI which used the same 911/83 RS mechanically fuel injected (MFI) engine that produced 210 bhp.
Highlight of the Coys Auction at Schloss Dyck when it comes to Porsche is without any doubt the 1992 Porsche 964 Turbo S lightweight. Porsche presented the 911 Turbo Lightweight as a design study at the Geneva Auto Show in March 1992. Positive response spurred Porsche to proceed with a limited run of this special production version. With only 86 Porsche 911 Turbo S lightweights built, this is definitely a highly wanted car. This particular Porsche 911 Turbo S lightweight resided in an important German Collection since 2011 and it comes a broad brief case including original books and owner’s manual, German registration documents, fully stamped service booklet and invoices.
