The results of the Bonhams Goodwood Festival of Speed Sale

There weren’t that many Porsche coming up for sale in the Bonhams Goodwood Festival of Speed Sale. And Goodwood isn’t exactly the place where you’d expect dazzling prices for Porsches that are not really rare or haven’t got a stunning history. However, the 1977 Porsche 911S that featured in the TV drama “The Bridge” was hammered at a staggering €141.533. But we must admit that all proceeds of this sparticular car went to charity, so that explains a lot. Furthermore, from the 6 Porsches that came up for auction, 3 of them remained unsold because they didn’t fetch the limit-price.  Even though Porsche was the featured brand at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, because of the 70th anniversary of the Porsche sportscars, the interest for the Porsches remained slow. And probably that’s because the cars weren’t that rare or collectible. All eyes are now headed to the Monterey Auctions, of which you’ll read more very soon. After all there will definitely come up for sale true rarities.
