The international Porsche Collectors Day is a big hit

The International Porsche Collectors Day, just a few weeks ago in its 12th edition, has grown into an event that spans not just the Netherlands.
Meanwhile, without any exaggeration, the Porsche Collectors day in the world’s largest official Porsche Classic Center is probably the largest Porsche-only collectors’ show worldwide. Yes, we truly believe this event has outgrown the legendary LA Lit and Toy Show.

With over 600 meters of exhibition tables, it took the large crowd a long time to see it all. Trust me, you’d better make a 2nd walk to make sure you didn’t miss a thing. And there was so much to be missed. Parts, toys, collectibles, literature in the form of books, brochures, manuals, press releases: name it, and you could find it. Some extremely rare brochures and manuals were offered for sale, and a trustworthy source told us some of them changed ownership, too.

Exhibitors made it to the Porsche Classic Center from all over Europe. We met exhibitors from Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, and Denmark. Visitors made it from all over the world, even though the regulars from the Middle East didn’t make it this year, due to obvious reasons.

Mark Wegh, owner of the Porsche Classic Center, and Henk Coop, president of the Porsche Model Club Europe, are the driving forces behind this event. Over 4000 visitors visited the Porsche Collectors Day, and all of them returned home with a big smile. Maybe they found the part they were looking for, or another gem for the collection. But most importantly, they all left with big smiles because of the passion they shared. The date for the next edition isn’t known yet, so we advise you to subscribe to our newsletter to stay tuned. And we’re convinced the next edition will even be better, once again.
