Open House John Willhoit Restorations 2017

Porsche 356, bratwurst and atmosphere

There’s no need to introduce John Willhoit Restorations to the regular visitor of the LA Lit and Toy Show and the related open houses that same weekend. There’s probably only a few of the Porsche fans that come to the Los Angeles region for the Porsche weekend, that do not the effort to drive to Long Beach to be part of the open house. Nothing else this year.

Friday, the day before the LA Lit and Toy Show, this is definitely the place to be.  When we arrived at John Willhoit’s place after our first stops at the Pelican Parts Open House and the Nicolas Hunziker Open House, we had to drive a few tours around the block to find a parking spot. Hundreds of Porsche enthusiasts, many of them in a classic Porsche, gathered at John Willhoit’s premises to enjoy the great atmosphere.

Nothing else but smiling faces, Porsche fans enjoying the cars parked in the street. All talking to each other while enjoying a German bratwurst and a soda. And ofcourse, John Willhoit had made sure to show some of his ongoing and former Porsche 356 restorations too. It is always so much fun to visit John Willhoit Restorations as that’s the place where you see the people with the same passion, and the great cars. Better be there next year
