End of oldtimer season in the South West of Germany

The weekend of 14 and 15 October lots of classic cars were spotted at the historical Linslerhof.  Exactly as the last few years, there were thousands of classic car fans that visited the ADAC Oldtimer Days, 15.000 to be exact. Not that many events can show a visitor number like that. But with 1500 participating classic cars and close t0 300 classical bikes, that’s not a surprise at all.

The Linslerhof is the home of Wendelin von Boch, CEO from the porcelain manufacturer Villery & Boch. It is the right accommodation to host an event like the ADAC Oldtimer Days with superb foods served for the guests, and artistst showed their artwork on the lawn in front of the Linslerhof. Furthermore regional Oldtimer clubs visited the event and parked their cars at the lawn.

Included in the program was a 2 day rally, the final rally of the ADAC Saarland Classic Cup. The rally took the participants over cosy roads through the hills to France and the lovely Saar-Lor-Lux region.
