“At the Essen Motor Show, every vehicle is exciting, beautiful and unique in its own way. This year we are placing special emphasis on variety and a wealth of variants,” explains project manager Ralf Sawatzki. That already begins in Hall 3, where everything revolves around the themes of performance and racing. Here, for example, ADAC, Mercedes Fan World, Nürburgring, Ravenol and Red Bull Deutschland will display their vehicles and products. There is a special anniversary for motorsports fans: “75 Years of NASCAR” is the title of a special featuring 16 vehicles from various series of the American racing association.
In halls 5, 6 and 7, it’s all about more: tuning and lifestyle
Tuning is not just a craft hobby, but a lifestyle and passion. The Essen Motor Show is the annual highlight of a community characterized by individuality, creativity and openness. This is evident in halls 5, 6 and 7, where visitors can expect well-known manufacturers such as Borbet, H&R and Hankook tires. There will also be scene brands such as Foxed, JP Performance and Low Madness. In addition to vehicles and high-quality tuning parts, exhibitors also offer fashion, especially hoodies, caps and T-shirts.
Tuning fans’ hearts beat particularly fast in Hall 5: the tuningXperience welcomes visitors with around 150 elaborately tuned private vehicles. This year, a particularly large number of rare vehicles will compete for attention. Among the highlights are such models as the Datsun GX 1200, Honda Acty and Jaguar XJS. Also among the exhibits are several e-cars such as a Cupra Born and models from Tesla. Speaking of Tesla, the California automaker turns 20 this year, which mobility service provider Next eShare.one is celebrating at its booth in Hall 3, with several vehicles from the popular brand.
Motorsport celebrates end of season in Essen
The world’s fastest industry, motorsport, traditionally celebrates the end of the season in Essen. Exhibitors in Hall 8 include the Automobile Club Germany, the German Motorsport Federation with the German Rallycross Championship, the Hockenheimring and the Special Touring Car Trophy. In addition, racing fans can look forward to fast-paced live presentations in the Event Area in Hall 4.
Last but not least is the Classic & Prestige Salon of organizer S.I.H.A., in Halls 1 and 2, and is the meeting place for lovers of classic cars and youngtimers. The range includes a particularly large number of models with a sporty touch. In addition, spare parts, model cars and accessories attract the public to the stands. Exhibitors and organizers also celebrate current anniversaries and present unsaleable highlights of automotive history.
