Last weekend , the Flanders Expo in Ghent, Belgium hosted the Flanders Collection Car, one of the main vintage car exhibitions in Belgium. Each year the exhibition has a special theme and this year the organiser’s choice was Jaguar.

Flanders Collection Car should not be seen as the most important show, don’t expect the ultra-rare and toplevel cars one can expect at the Retromobile in Paris, or the Technoclassica in Germany. Nevertheless, when it comes to finding parts, toys ,literature or memorabilia, in Ghent you could do some good business.

Not that many Porsches showed up this year at the Flanders Collection Car. The Transaxle Club of Belgium presented themselves to the publich, as they usually do in Ghent. This club, which is home for the transaxle Porsches 924, 944, 968 and 928 gathers owners of these cars, and tries to attract intrest to these less loved Porsches.

And ofcourse, next to the cars, a vintage car event like this, is always a great opportunity to bump into pilots from the past or people you haven’t seen a long time.
