The Nieuwpoort Drivers Days is a fairly new event on the Belgian Classic Car Calendar. In it’s 3rd edition now in 2018, the Nieuwpoort Drivers Day is a 2 day event hosted by the Belgian Coastal cities Nieuwpoort and Nieuwpoort Bad. Exactly as the 2nd edition in 2017, one day was reserved for 100% electrical cars and for dreamcars . Quite unusual to be honest, but seen the future of the all-electric powered cars, I presume more events will follow in the future. Like it or not. The 2nd day, classic cars where the main actors of the Nieuwpoort Drivers Day’s.
The organisation likes simplicity, so the roadbooks for both the electrical and dream-cars, and the classic cars were exactly the same. The route runs along the most beautiful roads of the West Coast and the polders behind it. In the afternoon, a concours d’elegance was the activity for the competitors.
