Early September, 19 pre A Porsche 356 gathered in Töftaholm, Sweden. It may sound like a surprise to you but despite the distance, the cars made the trip on their own wheels. The oldest car was a 1949 Gmünd ( VIN 038), and the longest distance was driven in a 1951 Porsche 356 Gläser Cabriolet, all the way from Italy. Luckily the weather was bright and sun shining, making it not too difficult for these precious cars. From the 19 cars, 9 were split-windows. People came all the way across Europe from the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands and as mentioned before Italy.
Early friday afternoon participants gathered at Toftaholm Herrgard, a beautiful and comfortable hotel located in the south of Sweden. The hotel would serve as a base for the 2013 edition of the pre A meeting. On Saturday there was a ride to Huseby Bruk with coffee break and guided tour in the beautiful mansion that is preserved with unique original inventories. The park and the large garden are well managed according to old traditions.

After the visit the ride went on to Mockelsnas Herrgard for lunch. After lunch departure to Rydaholm Smalands Museum where cars, music instruments and toys could be admired. After the visit all people rode back to Toftaholm for dinner and had a great evening.
Sunday most people had to leave early for a long ride back home. All left the meeting with a good feeling about the organisation of this lovely event, with plenty of splendid food, great rides across the swedish landscapes and a marvellous audience.
Thanks Lasse, Eric and Olle for all the efforts !!!
