Some time ago a young lady and her boyfriend went to a fleamarket in the neighbourhood of Osnabrück , a little town in the northern part of Germany.
The lady is an artist who paints, and makes furniture.They bought some old wood in a box to make some chairs and a table. The seller told that under the wood there was rubbish, and he couldn’t use it. He asked the young couple if he could leave it in the box, as he didn’t need it. So that’s what happened.. the rubbish was left in the box.
Back at home, the 2 young people took out the wood, went through the rubbish and found ‘some old Porsche posters and factory poster tubes’. At first they thought to throw it away as they weren’t into Porsche at all. But then they decided to do some research and they found out that somewhere in this crazy world, people were collecting this kind of stuff.
A few of the posters found there way allready to New Zealand, most of the remaining posters found a new home in my collection.
Isn’t it just incredible what an amazing find they did. I like visiting a fleamarket, and I’ll probably watch out even more since indeed.. treasures can be found!!
