It has become a tradition that Bonhams offers some cars for sale at the Chantilly Concours d’Elegance, an event by Peter Auto. Nothing else this year. It won’t be a surprise there is not a vast number of Porsches coming up for sale, even though the marque is well appreciated in France.
The 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera RS Type 993 Coupé has only about 57.000 kilometers on the odo. It comes with a complete service history. Only 1134 cars were produced, and the low mileage makes it even more desirable.
The 1966 Porsche 911 2.9 short wheel base, chassis number ‘305518’, was delivered new in Germany on 22nd August 1966, and the following year was exported to the USA. The car had an extensive restoration in 2014, and was painted back to the original color. These cars are highly wanted and it would surprise me it would not catch the minimum estimation price.
