The Waregem Oldtimer Event just had it’s 3rd edition and Successful is the only word to describe the event. Even though there’s quite some voices heard spreading the word that the show is too small, we do not really agree with that statement. Yes, they’re right the show is small, and yes we think it would be better if it could expand. On the other hand, we prefer quality over quantity. And that is exactly what you get at the Waregem Oldtimer Event.
Immediately after the entrance of the show, you immediately get a bath of vintage touch. The walls are complete decorated with vintage enamel signs of oils, petrols, tobacco.. You can find tools of all sizes used in car shops years and years ago. No better place to find material to decorate your classic car stable.
Exactly as the Waregem Oldtimer Event of last year, there were plenty of Porsches to be examined. From a real early Porsche 356 pre A bent-window in a very rough condition to more modern Porsches. Once again it becomes clear that the transaxle Porsche’s gain in popularity : the Porsche 924, Porsche 944 and Porsche 928 appear more and more at classic car shows.
Both the exhibitors and the public that visited the show in rather large numbers, enjoyed the cars and atmosphere to the most. Looking forward to next edition.
