Telling you the 10th edition of Le Mans Classic will be epic is nothing but an understatement. It will be for us Porsche fans but no classic car passionate will leave the Circuit de la Sarthe disappointed next Sunday.

I started counting the Porsches in the entry-list. Soon however I gave up. After all, quality is far more important than quantity. And it looks like there will be some great Porsches on the race track in the 4 days of Le Mans Classic.

6 grids and support races
From the 6 grids that will actually race, 5 of them have Porsches on the entry-list. The cars selected are those that have taken part in the Le Mans 24 Hours between 1923 and 1982. You will see Porsches ranging from the early fifties all the way up to 1982 in action.

Next to that you can see more recent race Porsches in action in the Endurance Racing Legends. Ofcourse in the Group C races, the Porsche 956 and Porsche 962 that dominated the race-tracks all over the world will be warm welcomed.
And the cherry on the pie will be the Porsche Classic race Le Mans. Porsche France and Peter Auto put together an exceptional grid made of more than 70 historic Porsches to compete on the legendary Le Mans circuit where the German manufacturer holds the historic record of 19 outright victories in the 24 Hours.

This race will feature models ranging from the first Porsche 911s (1965), very close to the production models, to the latest 935 (1981), including the most powerful versions that exceeded 800 horsepower.
I don’t see a reason not to be in Le Mans the coming days.. So hurry up.
