We told you before of our visits to several open houses on Thursday during the LA Lit and Toy Show. Friday same story, with one of the highlights of the bus tour definitely being the Nicolas Hunziker Open House.
I don’t think there’s a need to introduce the artist with Swiss roots to a Porsche enthusiast. Hunziker’s typical style of painting is renowned worldwide. His contributions to magazines and his commissioned artwork is widely known. On top of his fabulous artistic skills, Nicolas Hunziker and his lovely wife Heather are real down-to-earth and sympathetic folks.
Excellent foods and drinks are served in the Nicolas Hunziker show room. It is a great gathering of Porsche fans and always a pleasure to visit. Just as last year, Mike Brewer from Wheeler Dealers joined the fun. Rüdiger Mayer, author of the fantastic Racing & Recipes cookbook had a table in Nicolas Hunziker. Another book presented was 911Millenium, the largest Porsche coffee-table book on the planet, with pictures of the legendary German photographer Rene Staud.
Collectors of Porsche related memorabilia had the opportunity to buy one of the Jürgen Barth‘s Porsche Sound history vinyl records made back then with the sounds of Porsches. You could consider the record as bringing the Porsche Sound Night to your living-room.
