With spring coming in, quite some classic car lovers are preparing their cars for the new season. Some of them were caught by the classic car fever during the cold winter, and want to buy a vintage car. Others are wiping the dust of their cars in the garage And others think about adding a new toy to their collection. All these have had great oppurtunities to buy a car at the Scottsdale Auctions in January, or the auctions on the occasion of the Retromobile in Paris some weeks ago.
Porsche 911 RS heaven
It looks like the Amelia Island Auctions are the unique opportunity for the Porsche 911 RS fans. At the different auction houses, quite some of the RS versions ever that ever left the Porsche factory in Zuffenhausen, will come up for sale. From the 1973 Porsche 911 RS and the 1973 Porsche 911 RS lightweight to the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0.

Gooding & Co Auctions
Some very interesting cars will go under the hammer at Gooding & Co. When it comes to the early cars, we look out to the results of the rare Porsche 356 Carrera 2 coupes and the 1954 Porsche 356 Pre A Cabriolet. The 1998 Porsche 911 GT1 Strassenversion is a car that rarely appears at an auction. No wonder, with only 20 of them built, this is a rare occasion to acquire one. But keep in mind that this won’t be an easy buy. Another rare bird is the 1977 Porsche 934/5. Even more rare with just 10 of them built. What makes it even better is that his car had a class victory at the 1979 Nürburgring 1000 KM
