911Motorsport is a name that may ring a bell with you. Especially Porsche fans based in Belgium or the Netherlands are definitely familiar with the Antwerp-based 911Motorsport. Not only is it a company trusted by many Porsche owners for the maintenance of their air-cooled Porsche 911s. It houses an incredible collection of rare Porsche 911s too. 2 times a year, 911Motorsport organizes its own track days at the Abbeville race-track. We were lucky enough to be invited at the last one and had a blast of a time.

Circuit Abbeville is a small French race track, which is in Northern France. The track is designed and built for track days. And even though that doesn’t sound very spectacular, we guarantee you that spectacle and action is assured at the 911Motorsport Trackdays.

During my first day at the track, some members of the Belgian Porsche Club Be911 gathered at the track. Quite some of the members drove a Porsche 911 GT3. Probably the car is too powerful for the rather small track. Obviously, that did not prevent them from having great fun. It was great to see a wonderful replica of a 1967 Porsche 911R too

The owner of 911Motorsport brought some great cars to the track. That included some 1973 Porsche 911 2.7 RS, a Porsche 911 2.8 RSR, a Porsche 911 Carrera RS 3.0. Furthermore, some of their rally cars were present: the Happy People Porsche 911, a Porsche 911 SC/RS, and a Porsche 911 SC.
