On the occasion of the 85th anniversary of this champion who ran together with Fangio in F1 for Mercedes (3rd in the 1954 GP of Switzerland)and who won the 1970 24H of Le Mans with Richard Attwood in a Porsche 917, the very first overall victory for Porsche in the iconic race of the 24h of Le Mans.
The exhibition shows some of the most beautifull trophys and presents Hans Herrmann received in his race career. Among the presents a gift by the Swiss Porsche 356 Club,a picture retouched by Bernard Moix, a Swiss graphical artist famous far outside the borders of the Swiss canton Wallis where he works as creative director for the agencyOctane Communication.
Among the other curiosities, a picture taken at the Nürburgring in 1984, where Hans Herrmann ran a race with only F1 drivers and celebrities in Mercedes 190E 2.3-16.You can recognize Hans Herrmann , Niki Lauda, Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost. Ayrton Senna crossed the checquered flag first, followed by Niki Lauda , Carlos Reutemann and KekeRosberg. Hans Herrmann achieved a 18th place, immediately preceded by Jacques Laffite and followed by Elio de Angelis.
