Biography Pascal Zurlinden
Pascal Zurlinden was born in France. He studied automotive engineering and holds a Master of Sciences in Motorsport Engineering and Management. Motorsport and technology: 2 themes that kind of became a passion for Zurlinden. And Zurlinden’s professional career has always had these themes in common. Being trilingual enabled an international professional career.
Pascal Zurlinden used his passion for motorsport and his technical skills to supported French racing teams. He joined the DTM department of the Opel Performance center for a while, as as well as the Phoenix Racing squad. He performed several functions in his career and acquired broad expertise as technical head, data, tests, simulations, racing, or strategy engineer.
In 2008, Pascal Zurlinden stepped up and moved to Audi Sport. He spent several years there working on the preparation, implementation, and follow-up on the technical aspects of the DTM vehicles. In 2014, Pascal Zurlinden joined Porsche as a test and strategy engineer in the LMP1 project at the R&D Centre in Weissach. In 2017 he took over responsibility for the “Balance of Performance” in the GT field, before assuming the role as Director of GT Factory Motorsports in 2018. For personal reasons, Zurlinden stepped down as head of Porsche factory motorsport to take a new role as Director Factory Motorsport. End of February 2022, Pascal Zurlinden leaves Porsche, and moves on to Multimatic Inc., where he takes the role of Director of Performance Engineering.
