In it’s 4th edition, the Zoute Grand-Prix promises to be even of higher quality than the previous editions. Once again, a complete weekend Knokke-Zoute will be the centre of the belgian vintage car and exclusive car scene.
The weekend combines no less than 5 different events and will probably attract over 100.000 visitors during the weekend. The Zoute Top Marques has no less than 13 podia spread over the city, and about 125 cars exposed at the promena alongside the sea. Last year the Zoute Top Marques had 7 belgian premieres. It is still a surprise what this 4th edition will bring but without any doubt there will be something brandnew to discover.
The Zoute Rally is a vintage car rally, with some stunning subscribed cars in the previous editions. Without any doubt, there will be some great cars this year too within the maximum of 160 participants, 120 of them competing in the regularity class.
Brandnew event at the Zoute Grand-Prix this year is the Zoute Sale, an auction by the well-known auction-house Bonhams. Some early Porsches 911 will go under the hammer and a 1961 Porsche 356 Roadster and a rare one of 46 produced Porsche 924 Carrera GT. For the Ferrari fans, an exclusive Mille Miglia eligible 1954 Ferrari Tipo 250 Europa prototype which will bring a high hammer price without any doubt.
The Zoute Concourse d’elegance takes place on sunday at the Zoute Golf and always has some very exlusive and rare cars. Competing cars are on invitation only.
Last of the 5 events is the Zoute GT Tour, which will bring about 100 more modern GT’s from the Kortrijk Airport to Knokke to end the tour under police escort.
