Preview to the RM Sotheby’s auction at the St. Moritz Automobile Week

The ‘International St. Moritz Automobile Week’ encompasses a number of events between 16-19 September which will now include RM Sotheby’s St. Moritz auction. Even though only 24 lots will cross the block in the auction, 7 of them are Porsches. Needless to say we will keep an eye on the auction that will take place September 17th 2021. Obviously we’ll report about the results too. But let’s first take a closer look at some of the Porsches that the RM Sotheby’s Auction at the St. Moritz Automobile week will auction.

1973 Porsche 911 RS

1973 Porsche 911 2.7 RS

First comes a 1973 Porsche 911 2.7 RS, one of the cars that any Porsche collector would like to have. It was first delivered to the Hahn dealership in Fellbach, close to Stuttgart. It was generously optioned with leatherette and corduroy sport seats, driver and passenger seat headrests, fog lights, a retractable radio aerial, loudspeakers, and three-point safety belts. In 1979 it moved to a Japanese collection, where it resided over 3 decades. The car moved back to Germany in 2009, where it was restored by  Roock Sportsysteme of Leverkusen from 2010 – 2011.

2015 Porsche 918 Weissach Spyder

2015 Porsche 918 ‘Weissach’ Spyder

The original owner of this Porsche 918 Weissach Spyder puts the car in the auction. Chassis WP0ZZZ91ZFS800219 only has 3,967 km on the counter. Porsche Zentrum Stuttgart took care of it during it’s life. The car has covered fewer than 850 kilometres since its most recent service in November 2019. Original factory documentation and accessories, 918 crystal model, electric charging accessories, and individually numbered artwork accompany the car.

2019 Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport

2019 Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport

Only 200 Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport model 2019 were ever produced. This particular chassis WP0ZZZ99ZKS197057 shows only delivery distance on the counter. This 2019 Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport would make a wonderful opportunity to acquire what many consider the ultimate track day Porsche. Or you might just keep it in dry storage and turn it into a future time warp machine. What we could consider a shame, as this magnificent cars deserves to be driven.
