Implementation in June 2020 not possible

Essen, 11 May 2020: The current pandemic situation continues to make it necessary to keep a close eye on the health of all exhibitors, visitors and employees. In view of this responsibility and the continuing ban on holding major events until the end of August 2020, the originally planned alternative date of TECHNO-CLASSICA ESSEN at the end of June 2020 must be cancelled.
This decision follows the decisions of the Federal Government, which were last updated on 6 May 2020. The travel restrictions which continue to apply also prevent the preparation and holding of the fair at the planned date in June 2020.
S.I.H.A. as the organiser, together with Messe Essen GmbH and all partners, has taken this decision on the basis of the current situation. Thus, one thing is certain: The next TECHNO-CLASSICA Essen
– most important international platform for the classic car scene – will take place next year as scheduled from 7 to 11 April 2021.
S.I.H.A. as the organiser expressly thanks the numerous exhibitors and partners as well as the long-standing visitors of TECHNO-CLASSICA ESSEN, who have expressed their understanding for the measures taken. The high degree of solidarity has been a sign of trust.
