The top Porsches remain unsold
Hard to explain why but the most important Porsches that came under the hammer at the Bonhams Auction at Spa Classic remained unsold. Even though there was lots of interest in the auction, seen the audience that showed up at Sunday afternoon, there was not really much velocity when it came to bidding on the Porsches that crossed the block.
From the 13 Porsches that were in the Bonhams Auction Catalogue, only 7 found a new owner. 1975 PORSCHE 911 2.7-LITRE GROUP 4 COUPÉ was withdrawn from the auction. 5 other Porsches, among them the Porsche 934/5 in Martini Livery and the Porsche 356 Convertible D didn’t reach the reserve.
We wonder when these cars will popup in an auction again, and if they will be sold then.
