The 60th SLS Rally

The SLS rally celebrated its 60th anniversary. The anniversary edition was held from Wednesday, August 28 to Saturday, August 31, 2024. The rally started in Luxemburg, where the organisation welcomed the participants on Tuesday, with a welcome dinner.

Once again, the SLS rally led the particiants during 4 days of rally over the most beautiful roads in Luxembourg, France, Belgium and the Netherlands. The unique character of the event is mainly determined by the fact that all participants stay together in one good hotel every night and enjoy an excellent dinner together.

The SLS Classic is divided into three classes. In the tour class there is room for novice crews where for less experienced participants a free instructional morning as part of the mini-SLS, is organized prior to the rally. There is plenty of competition in the upper echelons of the touring class, and the route is set out in such a way that even less experienced crews are able to reach the finish location within the time limits.

A bit more difficult and challenging is it in the sport class. The competition is fiercer than in the tour class with more miles to drive and more challenging map reading constructions. In the expert class, approximately 35 crews, from home and abroad, compete for the honor and final victory of the SLS 2024.
