Each year, as a side-show of the LA Literature and Toy Show, the Long Beach based restorer John Willhoit has open house at his premises. Just as last year, he had a dyno available where people could have their Porsche tested.
Every time I visit John’s workshop, I’m surprised about his top quality restorations. There’s always some cars for sale, you can see the restorations in progress. My personal highlight for this year was the Porsche 904 for sale. This wonderfull car, with a wellknown provenance, could change hands for 1.35 million USD.
John made sure the visitors had food and drinks too. Thanks for hosting John and see you next year.
