4-7 september, the environment of Saarbrücken and Luxemburg was crowded with early Porsches where the 4th pre A meeting took place. Near 20 pre A Porsches made it to the event. People coming from Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, UK,…
The crowd came together at the Saarbrücken Castle, after which they headed for Classic-parts in Saarbrücken, where Peter Hoffmann welcomed the Porschist. (I hope to have some pictures of the pre A’s at classic-parts soon)
After the visit, the tour went on to a Designer factory Outlet, to please the ladies.
On Saturday the early Porsches made a scenic tour of about 160km (256 miles) with a few stops. One of the stops was in an old steel factory in Völklingen. Next stop was a choice between Mettlach , well-known for the porcelain of Villeroy & Boch, or the Saarschleife where a really astonishing view on the Saar river can be admired.
Sunday the event was over, people could visit Luxemburg if they wanted to.
Next year the meeting will take place in the south of France
