The improved weight distribution and more space is freed up to fit a larger diffuser at the rear, generating more downforce. The Porsche 911 RSR wins the GTLM Class at the 12 Hours of Sebring after a heart stopping finale.

To the joy of the majority of the audience, the Porsche 919 Hybrid is among the cars on stage. Even though the race track in the Porsche Arena was a bit narrow, and mechanics had to push the car a few times a bit back to help Mark Lieb master the narrow curves, he managed to bring the Porsche 919 Hybrid on stage. A job not everyone of us would have been able to, as it is absolutely no sinecure to drive a true race car like the Porsche 919 Hybrid on a very slow speed.
