When Olaf Manthey was first asked to drive a Porsche in the brandnew Porsche Carrera Cup Series, he wanted some test laps before he would agree. Olaf Manthey was used to driving BMW’s in the DTM series at that time. After 5 laps in the Porsche, Olaf Manthey returned the car to the pits, and shouted he would never drive a car with a handling like that. However, Olaf Manthey could be convinced. Since that time, he says he has a hate-love relation with Porsche. However, Roland Kussmaul who is on stage too, corrects him and tells it is just a love relation.
